reaction : Article about Montalvan

Philippines, one of the most populated countries in the world. It is one of the countries with the lowest economical rate.

Due to these problems, Philippines is been promoting different policies in decreasing the population.

But, do these really help? Do these increase the development of our country? THINK!

In the policies stated on what I have read earlier, it could help a bit in decreasing the population, but some of it could also harm the women’s health. Nowadays women take pills for them to avoid having another child. Well, it really could help, but it also slowly kills them.

Two-child policy, could also help in decreasing population, but what if the couple already have 3 or 4 or even more? Are they going to kill them? Obviously, that’s not good or even right!

Sex education for the youth, it gives knowledge to students or early youth, it gives knowledge to students to be open-minded about those issues at the very early age. But, does this help? Yes, in decreasing population. But in Philippines progress? Does decreasing the population helps in developing our country? Is population really proportional to the country’s progress?

Well, though these policies or laws are used today, we still haven’t progress, and the worst, we getting down.

Having a populated country, won’t merely help in developing our country. Though its over populated, as long as we know how to strive and survive, surely, it will soon progress.

Recently, our situation here in the Philippines, is over populated. We’ve been encountering nowadays, food shortage and least rice supply, which is one of our basic needs. Well, how can we, Filipinos, be able to progress?

Though we are too many, too crowded in this country, if we could just unite and cooperate, avoid the grafting and corruption which is mainly why we never progress, be true to everything, helping each other, hand in hand, Philippines will simultaneously progress.

We must also remember the saying, “the merrier the better”, but still, “we need to strive more together”.
